In November 2022, the Project is pleased to count on a public school of the Community of Madrid, CEIP Carlos Cano, as associated member of the Project.
CEIP Carlos Cano was created in 2006 and since then it has aimed to be an educational center that is participative and open to its environment.
Its fundamental characteristic is its conception of an open, plural, tolerant, respectful and flexible school, where education in values and autonomy are a constant.
It is a school where the educational community can participate in order to build, with their collaboration, “a school for all”.
As asociated member, the role of the school is to design and implement a S-L project, based on UDL, to create a vegetable garden within the school that can be used by the children of some nearby foundations.
The garden will count with the maximum accessibility and the project will involve students in the 3rd year of primary school, focusing on the subject of Social Sciences, although other subjects will also be worked on in a cross-cutting manner.
